Dawn Ellmore Employment’s 2025 / 2026 Salary Survey is now available!
This year’s survey highlights the range of salaries and benefits for Patent Attorneys, Trade Mark Attorneys, IP Solicitors, Intellectual Property-related Management, Patent and Trade Mark Support, as well as Business Support staff at all levels.
Our findings show that the industry continues to evolve, with strong earning potential. Notably, there has been a significant salary increase for Patent Attorneys, Trade Mark Attorneys and Intellectual Property Solicitors, reflecting the growing demand for expertise in this field.
Conversely, roles in both Intellectual Property Support and Business Support have experienced little change compared to the previous year. However, there has been increases in salaries for some Patent and Trade Mark Support roles, particularly in London and other regions. Despite these trends, the number of IP professionals continues to grow, and working arrangements, including hybrid and fully remote options, have largely remained stable.
Ultimately, demand is steadily increasing for professionals across all levels — from junior to senior roles and business support positions. Here’s to a successful year ahead, driven by fresh talent entering the field of Intellectual Property!
