This year’s salary guide provides an overview of the salaries and benefits across the Intellectual Property sector, covering Patent Attorneys, Trade Mark Attorneys, IP Solicitors, Patent and Trade Mark Support, professionals working in IP Management and the wider Business Support functions at all levels.
Our findings indicate that the market continues to adapt in response to shifting demands, with firms’ ensuring that salaries remain competitive to secure new hires. In particular, salaries for Patent Attorneys, Trade Mark Attorneys and IP Solicitors continue to rise.
Remuneration for Intellectual Property Support and Business Support roles has shown a modest movement overall. Notable increases include senior level Patent and Trade Mark Support roles in London and the regional areas across the United Kingdom. The overall IP workforce continues to expand, while flexible working arrangements including hybrid and fully remote working patterns, remain the norm in the profession.
Demand remains consistent across the sector, from junior positions through to senior hires, as well as across business support departments.
