Emily
Dawn Ellmore Employment is very proud to be supporting our Recruitment Assistant, Jessica Bailes, as she runs the Virgin Money London Marathon on the 23 April this year!
Jessica is running the marathon in memory of her little sister Emily, who was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 5 and who sadly lost her battle with the disease in March 2008, aged 9. Following this, Jessica’s family set up the Emily Bailes Fund to raise money for the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG).

The Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group is a leading children’s cancer charity. The CCLG’s work helping those with cancer has been invaluable, and now 80% of children diagnosed with cancer are cured. But their work is not done!
While she will always miss Emily, Jessica is hoping that her fundraising efforts will help to improve that statistic further and make a difference to any families facing childhood cancer in the future.
Here at Dawn Ellmore, we have seen the effort that Jessica is putting in to training for this event. She has clocked up over 250 miles in training already and has been out in all weathers at all times of the day. We are proud to be sponsoring her and this very worthy cause!
