Patent Administrator – Birmingham (Hybrid Working Available)
We’re working with a leading Intellectual Property firm that’s looking to recruit an experienced Patent Administrator to join their team in Birmingham on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a dynamic legal team and play a key role in the smooth running of patent, trade mark, and design operations — both UK and international.
Duties will include:
- Draft and amend patent/trade mark/design documentation using templates and technical info
- Manage deadlines, filings, and formalities across UKIPO, EPO, EUIPO, WIPO, and more
- Support attorneys with record-keeping, case updates, and portfolio reports
- Coordinate client comms and liaise with overseas agents
- Prepare billing entries and invoices
- Maintain accurate client files and support travel, meetings, and general admin tasks
Previous Patent administration/paralegal experience is essential, gained from a law/IP professional services environment. Offering an attractive salary amongst other benefits including on-going training and hybrid working.
