Patent Administrator / Paralegal – Scotland
Are you seeking a new opportunity within patent support? We are working with a reputable law firm in Scotland who are seeking a Patent Administrator / Paralegal to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
What experience will you need? To be successful, you will need at least 3 years’ experience within a patent support role, handling a variety of patent formalities and paralegal tasks. A CIPA qualification would be very useful for this position. However, this might not be essential if you have a wealth of valuable patent paralegal experience.
Duties:
- Managing patent portfolios.
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients.
- Dealing with IP renewals.
- Effectively communicating with IPOs.
- Drafting and filing patent applications; handling filings within a vast range of jurisdictions.
