Trade Mark Paralegal Team Leader – Manchester – c£60k p/a

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Trade Mark Paralegal to join a top-rate law firm on a full-time permanent basis.

To be considered, you will need at least 6 years’ experience working as a Trade Mark Paralegal. Additionally, you should have proven experience in leading a team of Paralegals. A CITMA qualification is required for this position. Within this role, you’ll be carrying out leadership / management duties while handling paralegal responsibilities.

Duties:

• Managing trade mark portfolios for a range a high-status clients.
• Handling the entire filing process for trade marks.
• Dealing with trade mark renewals.
• Handling oppositions.
• Docketing deadlines.
• Processing correspondence.
• Attending to billing duties.
• Liaising with IPOs and clients.
• Responsible for training Trade Mark Paralegals.
• Assigning workloads across the team.
• Identifying needs for process improvement.
